I've really enjoyed learning Cantonese with Sau Yan! She's kind, engaging, and brings great energy to each session. I especially appreciate her patience in helping me with pronunciation and her thoughtful approach to tailoring lessons based on my goals and interests. She always checks in on questions from previous lessons and makes sure everything is clear before moving on. Her initial intake process was also very helpful where she took the time to understand my motivations and learning style, which has made our sessions feel very personalized. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone starting out, especially if you're looking for a supportive and encouraging tutor.
